Internet Scavenger Hunts or Webquests as some people call it are one of the many great resources that are available to which also integrates technology. These quests will provide motivation for students and help them to learn how to research on the web. The webquests are lessons that can accommodate every core subject, as well as extracurricular subjects. Webquests promote high-level thinking in students and develop problem-solving skills. The webquest which I developed was a Science Webquest with art and writing included in the quest plan. This webquest sends students on a scavenger hunt to find out what the three states of matter are and what are the similarities and differences in their characteristics. After completing and answering challenge questions, students will create a poster and write a reflection over what they learned in their webquest as an assessment.
